Even though you're not allowed to drink during labour in some hospitals I brought some cartons of apple juice with me. I drank one about every 30 minutes just to keep hydrated and my strength up - had to do it while the nurse was out of the room though. I found that I didn't use most of the stuff I brought with me. Still looking for the right answer about my 2000 Kawasaki prairie Timing?

I started with a broken cam chain dowel pin on the sprocket, bent valves, stretched timing chain. Replaced with new parts, set everything by the manual,got it running but would pop back through the carb if you open up the throttle but would idle perfect high or low idle, but after running for a few minuets would get very hot so I checked my timing and it just will not line up with the timing marks exact that the manual says. Could the timing chain sprocket on the crankshaft move from its original position, or am I missing something that is not covered in the manual. I would like the right advice, as I also answer questions a lot on answers dealing with Small engine repair but this is a whole different problem than repair on a lawnmower which does not have any timing chain or sprockets to deal with

Carpet problems?

We just got new carpeting last year in our family room, and are driveway is flat. It rained really hard three days ago, and the water came into the house and got are carpet soaked! We borrowed a carpet cleaner that sucked up about six buckets of water, but now its dry enough that it isnt sucking anything else up, but the carpet is still wet. In automatic transmissions, is the oil filtered before entering the hydraulic lines?

I am thinking about changing some pieces of my transmission that broke into pieces inside the transmission. Are there any chances that the hydraulic lines are blocked by these pieces, or do they have their own fluid? The pieces that broke were the planet gears, and planet carriers. I am also going to change the friction band and some clutches. It is a transmission from a 1999 nissan quest.

Honestly, I think you both need to take the pressure down a notch. I can understand that = intimacy and lack thereof can make you feel unwanted; however, it shouldn't. You're putting pressure on him, he's probably putting pressure on himself, you're obviously stressing yourself out. Wow. Don't jump to conclusions about whether he's cheating, whether wants to break up or whether he isn't interested anymore because men sometimes just go through phases where they simply aren't in the mood (yes, even young men). You need to tell him straight up how you feel but be prepared to listen as well. If he has little or nothing to say in return then don't worry and most importantly do not judge...just let him speak up if/when he wants to do so. And as I said, take some deep breaths and relax. Not having isn't the end of the world. If you relax and dial back the pressure things are more likely to work themselves out sooner rather than later. Keep worrying and driving yourself nuts and things will continue on their current track or perhaps even get worse.

I told him, "you're a perverted old fart, get the hell out of my face. He did. He came back later, I avoided him. Apparently he wanted to apologize. Ended up going to h.r. filing report, etc.. They speak to him. My supervisor, myself and h.r. meet. He was spoken to. Told not to speak to me anymore, only work related. I said that was fine. He conveniently did not recall the past incident. (mental note.. lesson learned, turn them in the first time it happens!!) Then the kicker was, I was told, ok, now we need to discuss the way you spoke to him. You were unprofessional and the words were not called for. I said, really? Well, I did EXACTLY what I was taught in ual harrement cles. We are supposed to tell the person, don't like it, stop it. I did that the first time and I unfortunarlty had to say it a second time. Which went to proove that he doesnt' care because he said "SO". That's when I had to go down to a level that he would understand. He sure did! He comprehended then what I meant. I was told, well, you shouldn't have stooped to his level. I said, you are right. I shouldn't have had to, because NONE OF THIS SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED. It's sad that it took me saying, That how you should be seeing it. It's sad to make someone comprehend what you are saying by saying it in laymen terms, to get the message across. Pretty sad.

I felt the same way when I was 16. I was raised a Catholic. When I was 24 I came back to Catholic Christianity. I came back with a deeper more mature understanding. I realized that what I had rejected was a childish aproach to faith. That was the faith of my parents. They were good simple people. That kind of faith was enough for them. But I demanded intellectual conviction of a scientific nature, something that is not entirely possible. I came back because of the good example of Catholic and Protestant Christian friends. I heard their philosophical, and theological arguments. I kept reading every good book that I could get my hands on. I do not necessarily follow the conformist thoughts of my of my co-religionists., but i do believe that I am following the road that Christ wants for me. I have now married, I have returned to being a Catholic, but a different kind of Catholic. I have children who are having their own faith struggles. Life is a journey.

Baby solids & finger foods problems (10.5 months)?

I don't know if this will be any help, but my daughter turned 1 the beginning of the month, i took her off formula on her birthday, she was an extremely picky eater up until then. If i gave her anything to try she would gag and swat it out of my hand, i wouldn't even get it into her mouth and she would gag.. This last month has been a lot easier then i could of imagined, i haven't given her a bottle since her birthday and she has done fine, she has a sippy cup of milk at bedtime and that's it, the rest of the day she gets water or juice. Once you take the milk away they get hungrier and are much more willing to try different foods. She is full from the milk and pourage so she is less willing to try new things, but once those are lessened she will be hungry and eat better. But you still have about 2 months before you should worry about that. When she turns one, just try eliminating it during the day and see if she will eat better.

My husband and I are moving out of our little apartment and into our new home at the end of the month. My gelding is young(4) and bucks when he gallops or when i let him have his head when cantering or loping. He is a great horse he just gets spunky. Last year he threw my sis off and twisted 2 vertebres around in her neck, he was in training for 2 months after that and stopped bucking but now he started doing it again and i cant afford to send him back to training and im only 15 so i dont know how to fix it myself yet.. He doesnt buck hard with me b/c he knows he cant get away with it though, he just does little hopping bucks so he has never gotten me off him but i dont want to give him a chance to either. Every time he does it i pop him on the neck, back him up then try again and repeat that untill he stops bucking. how can i get it to stay in his head without having to do that every single time he gallops?

What to do with a swollen finger?

When a swelling injury occurs use the RICES principle: Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation, Support. Ice for 20 minutes then rest for and hour, repeat until you have to use it, when you don't have the ice on it you should have some sort of tight wrap going all the way down the finger with it being tighter around the nail and looser as you go down to push the swelling out. Also when ever possible keep you finger above your heart to allow the swelling to get pushed out. Support is the same as your compression.

Why can't I say what I'm thinking?

I have a serious problem saying what I'm thinking. It's so bad that I'm to the point where I don't even communicate with my wife or children like I used to. I have ideas or feelings to share or points to make and they are so clear in my head yet the moment I open my mouth to speak I either go blank or say something that comes across completely opposite of how I mean it. Sometimes I even hear what I want to say in my head and become so flustered because I'm not saying it that I either lock up, get even more confused, or somehow get angry and make things worse. Sometimes nothing is wrong but when I can't communicate how I want to I turn a normal conversation into an argument or confuse everyone around me. I know when it's something I can write down and present later I can do just that, but when it's something I want to say right then or just had a moment to think about I fall apart. I do have ADHD and am on medication but I still can't figure out how something as simple as communicating is causing me, and me in turn causing the ones I love so dearly, so much stress and heartache. Even in typing this message I have checked my question numerous times and still wonder if I will make any sense. Sorry for the long detail and thanks for any help in advance!

Can someone please explain to me why there's ammonia and nitrates in my tank and no nitrites? The tank has been running for about two months now. It is a 20 gallon tank with 4 danios, and four neon tetras. I feed them as much as they can eat in a minute every other day. I change 20% of the water every other week. Help with goodbye ex-best friend "speech" ?

Well, here's my problem. I have been best friend for 7 years with a person who i totally felt it could understand me, feel me and help me whenever i need her. As the motto says time changes best friends become strangers, and that's what kinda happened. A year ago she dumbed me for another circle of friends who were open to drinking beers all day long, smoke stuff and go out till 4 am and more.. Anyway after 1 year of constant fights between me and her, we found our way this summer. In the end my best friend told me that she knew i would say. she added that be she had already promised to her friend to go to the concert with her and that she couldnt cancel it now. (she didn't even like that girl in reality cause she was a huge lier and her boyfriend's stealer but she accepted to there with her instead of going out with me...) My best friend asked me to out with her at least before the concert and so we did, then she promised she will call me to meet late after the concert to celebrate it. she didn't call. the next day she told me she was sorry but she returned late from that concert. i was sad cause i though that she was joking me and that she wouldnt sell me for a concert of a neighbourhood boy band.. i told her i was dissapointed and that i couldnt expect something better than it. since that day we havent talked. i dont think that i should be the one who needs to apologise or feel sorry, even though some times i tend to blame myself when its not my fault. My dad and my mom have been divorced for seven years now. When they filed for divorce, my dad couldn't afford an attorney and kinda got screwed -- divorce is a hard thing on people and during the stress of it all, it was accidentally overlooked that my mom was requesting alimony pretty much until the day she pes on, or gets remarried. Now it seems that my mother is continuing to say that she "needs" that alimony money because she's being spiteful and thinks my dad ruined her life, yadda yadda. My dad is hoping that if he writes a letter asking her if she would stop it that she will, now that she has her inheritance money. Could the universe be a constant size, with everything in it shrinking uniformly?

Scientists tend to state that the universe is expanding. Doesn't it make more sense, uming that nothing exists outside the universe: that it is infinitely small from that viewpoint. It seems more logical to me that everything contained in it is imploding in on itself at the same rate that scientists claim the universe is expanding? If everything within the universe is shrinking, then everything would appear (via observations) to be moving away from each other. If all the elementary particles are shrinking at the same rate the observations would be exactly the same wouldn't they? My reasoning is that if the universe is infinitely small (or large - take your pick) it cannot change size because infinity is constant. Therefore the only way for the observations we make (the expansion) to make sense is for the contents of the universe to be shrinking relative to the size of the entire universe.

So, im taking an antibiotic called cephalexin for my infected tattoo. My DR. gave me enough for a week and im almost done. So, the other day while laying in bed i started to notice that my "downstairs" was really itchy. It was driving me crazy. I didnt scratch it because i didnt want to make anything worse. So ive had the itching for almost 3 days. I also have a discharge its white and pasty, real thick. There is an odor but not real bad. Nothing compared to the BV infections Ive had in the past. Im thinking the antibiotics have caused a yeast infection because it started in the middle of my medication cycle. Plus i looked up the side effects for this Antibiotic and it says it could cause l itching/discharge. There is no pain in that area, no fever or anything like that. Im still worried because i had unprotected with a guy 2 weeks ago and again (same guy) last Friday. Now im thinking or Trich. Im having a lot of anxiety about this and it;s really worrying me. I have a dr. appointment Friday to get tested and have this "yeast infection" checked out. but does anyone have any ideas as to what it could be?

Yes, for the most part they do. There are probably schools that don't but the ones I know of have the same progress for all students of all backgrounds. You are doing it right. Nitrite can start showing up in the first week or two. There likely will not be a drop in ammonia for another week or so. Each tank cycles a little differently but it does sound like you are on track. You only keep adding ammonia if the ammonia is below the 4ppm. Above 6ppm and it actually kills the beneficial bacteria, so adding a lot every day can work against you if too much is added. Testing and keeping proper levels is the correct way. You are doing it all correctly. Eventually the ammonia will drop very quickly after you add it, and a level that brings it to about 2ppm every day when this happens is fine (where the "add every day" comes in). you wont have a constant reading of 2 or 4 when this time comes, rather it will have a reading once added and should drop to 0 that day.

Actually you can lose about 30lbs in two weeks if you are overweight and following a strict fasting routine. It's hard to do and you will feel very sick during the process, but afterward your body will feel like your a teen again.

When it is booting up, you should see a logo that says "Ubuntu" or something else. To install programs in ubuntu, click the logo at the top left of the screen, then go to software manager. From there, you can search for programs like skype and install them. I'm not sure if you can get skype on linux though.

I've never had that much trouble out of my pugs, and they were intact males when we got them. Have your dogs checked for urinary tract infections, and if they will not remember their manners indoors, get them some bitches britches. They will get immediate reinforcement about not going inside and it will keep your house clean. You can also use the umbilical method. Just keep them both tethered to you at all times. Don't acknowledge them, or ask them to follow you, just walk. It sounds like they think they rule the place. You didn't mention if they are spayed or not. If they are, it could be spay incontinence, and if they aren't it could be their heat cycle. Talk to your vet to rule out medical reasons, and then talk to a trainer. Pugs are very smart, but they can also be very stubborn.

Goodies folder in Photoshop CS4?

I downloaded Photoshop CS4, so I do not have a Goodies folder on a disc, like Adobe says. I also downloaded the Extract tool for CS4, since it was not present in the original, and I know that I need to put the Extract tool in the Goodies folder in order for it to work in my program. The Goodies folder came with the Extract tool download, I'm just not sure where to put it in the hierarchy of folders and files that Photoshop CS4 uses. Can anyone look and see where I need to put the Goodies folder?

Starting last week, I started having pink spotted bleeding with a brown discharge in it, but only when I wiped. It has been going off and on since then. I try to learn a song or 2 a day then I take time to to learn memorize every note on the fret board a day I count them down E1 A1 D1 G1 B1 e1 then I move down E2 A2 D2 G2 B2 e2 and so on for like 20 mins then I just screw around with for an hour. Is that goo enough or are there other ways.

Products to use for bed head hairstyle?

I was wondering what products to use for the bedhead hairstyle? I went to Toni & Guy the girl really layered my hair and textured it. She put some stuff in my hair and it looked really good but I can;t remember what it was. My hair is about two inches long. It is a cross between asian hair and white hair. It is extremely thick and straight. What product(s) should I use. I have tried Redken clay stuff and American crew fibre paste. Both of those are really thick. I don't know if I am using them right or not. I mage it through my hands then apply it. As soon as I put my hands on my head it clumps my hair and it looks funny. I apply this when my hair is dry.

Honestly, I think you're just setting yourself up for disappointment. This has obviously been an issue for a long time between the two of you. What makes you think it won't be any more of a problem several years from now? Seems like it would be an ongoing issue between you two. And there's also the chance of him resenting you in the end. He's more than willing to suppress his attraction to males, right now. But if he finds himself years from now, wanting to act on those suppressed feelings, he will eventually snap. It'd make perfect sense, seeing how the US government is incompetent on all levels and is too scared to disappoint Mexico by deploying the US military to the border to eradicate narco traffickers. Some training Questions

Let's address the gelding first: Cross tying is not essential, it wouldn't be the end of the world if he NEVER stood in a cross tie...some horses just will not do it and will eventually flip and hurt themselves, or worse yet, break their neck and take a lovely trip on the big, ugly truck..so, the point that I am making is not to make that big of a deal out of it, tie him to a sturdy place in a strong halter with a strong lead rope and let him learn to accept it and stand quietly. Now, the mare: I would use this on both horses until they learn some ground manners and learn to respect your space. Don't even attempt to lead them unless you use a chain on the end of your lead rope. Feed it in the side of his/halter, down the side of the halter, through the metal piece there and over the nose...try over the nose first, it discourages rearing, and then back up to the other side of the halter...makes for more even pressure when you use it. Do NOT try to lead your horse looking at him/her...walk forward, looking where you are going, with your elbow out so that will be the first thing that your horse runs into when they invade your space...do NOT let your elbow budge, keep it firm and even push it into your horse and use the lead and back him up, quickly. Let him stand quietly, then turn around and repeat the process. Don't get discouraged, he will get the idea, just don't give up. Once you get your horse/horses listening to you, teach them to take a step backward when you take a step into their space and push them with the halter, at the same time, walk close to your horse and make him pivot on his hind end and continue to follow you...when ever your horse is rude and invades your space, run him backward with the halter, verbally correct him and make him stand up square and stay there. Now, with the bathing...use a stout halter, a strong lead rope and just tie your mare up where she can't push her around...make sure you haven't tied her to a fence that she will get in, but even a tree will work..begin with the hose quietly, at her feet, don't push her, work your way up..if she jigs around, let her, continue what you are doing until she accepts what you are doing, then work on up to her belly, her sides and her back and her neck...you might even want to wait on her head/face if she had done well so far...make it pleasant but don't stop in the middle of it just because she is acting up, she can just get over it. Use a scr or brush on her that is pleasant to her and walk her around after the experience...do it again the next day, and again the next until it's routine...remember, whether you are just leading your horse, backing it up, riding it, bathing it or grooming it, you are ALWAYS teaching it something, you are either reinforcing something negative or you are teaching something positive...so you have to be aware of everything that you are doing and what impression that it is making on your horse...If I have left anything out or you need further explaination, just ask. P.S. One more thing, separate them when you are working with them, ideally completely out of sight and sound of each other.

My neighbor building shed without permit.?

I live in miami and we have like hurricanes right...Well anyways i think my neighbor behind my house is building a shed without a permit..i suspect this because the shed is like right next to my property and it looks like it was made with plywood and looks very cheap..i dont think this "structure" would hold up in a hurricane..and i think the shed will come tumbling towards my house in the event of a hurricane..and the shed is pretty big and i think it would do alot of damage...should i report them or what should i do..if i were to report them where do i call..thanks!
