Should i have said yes to him?

i dated this boy for 2 years. then we broke up for two years. now we started dating agin and my best friend doesnt think its a good idea. all of my other friends and family think he is a good kid and will be good to me. we were in love before and broke up because he started smoking pot. he has stopped now and has rlly changed and matured. do u think i made the right choice by dating him again? im worried.
