Is West Virginia really racist?

Is West Virginia really racist, hillbilly, crazy, blue-collar and full of rednecks.. I am taking a trip to Buckhannon, West Virginia in a few days and its in the Northern part of the state... Alot of people say that Southern West Virginia and the Northern part are like totally different states with the North being more like Ohio or Pennsylvania... I guess I could see that being that the University is in Morgantown (Which is in the North part) and u hav plenty of black players and such.... Please tell me about Buckhannon and tell me what West Virginia really is like!!!
