Teens: Help me with my phobia? Or whatever it is...?

Ello! alright well I am DEATHLY afraid of meningitis or however you spell it. Like when I was dating I was afraid to hug or do anything! Im afraid I'll get sick. Because it acts as the flu then the next day, people die. Its common in adolescents and I got my shots, but apparently there is another shot. How can I tell my mom I want the shot? Or can I still hug but be safe? Ahh! I hate being scared. I don't wanna act like a druggie because Im asking for this shot, ha. But yeah. Can someone please help me!?!?!
