What was your baby's heart rate? Was it a boy or girl?

I've heard that saying if it's below 140 it's a boy and if it's higher it's a girl, well that was true for my Mom and grandma. What about for you? My baby's heart rate was 131 and from day 1 before I knew I was pregnant I was having dreams of meeting my "son" and I still have them and this boy always looks the same curly blond hair, big blue eyes. Which it could be my son, but i have straight blond hair and blue eyes. What was your situation?
