Can bosc monitors eat lamb mince or beef mince ?

Hi my dad used to have a black throat monitor and used to feed him raw turkey mince and boiled egg, i was wondering will it be ok to give my bosc lamb/beef mince (raw or cooked) ? thanks Harley
